Flat Four – High-Concentration Glass Polishing System

The type typically used is diluted and specialized for the body. However, S4 is a high-concentration type, which reacts very quickly. Due to its rapid decomposition, it requires extra careful handling.

Avoid masking the glass, as this creates an additional layer that can lead to wiper scratches in areas where the wiper makes contact. In the worst case, if any residue appears, it can be removed through polishing.

Some stains can be cleaned with a basic water stain remover, but others may be uneven or more stubborn, requiring a specialized stain remover. These tougher stains may take extra time to address.

When the process is applied as a combination treatment, the results are highly satisfying. For heavily scaled windshields, it’s more efficient to clean them with Killer’s No. 1, even if wiper scratches are present (training will cover this technique). After using Killer’s No. 1, polish the glass with Flat #7 to restore a smooth, like-new finish.

How to Use

  1. Apply an appropriate amount to a sponge or microfiber cloth.
  2. The applied area will lose its repellent effect.
  3. Once the product reacts and turns white, wipe it off thoroughly.
  4. After use, rinse the area well or wipe it clean to remove any residue.

For areas that remain unusable, repeat the reaction process and dry wipe as needed. Some parts may discolor during use—exercise extreme caution.

Thin clear paint or non-clear paint may absorb the product, leading to discoloration. Additionally, if water is present, the product may drip and cause streaks. Draining water from the surface before application will improve its effectiveness.

For areas with limited reaction, lightly treat the surface and wipe thoroughly with a dry microfiber cloth.

Always wear rubber gloves and goggles when using this product. As it is acidic, handle with care.

Characteristics of Flat Four

Simply removing scales or wiper scratches may result in poor adhesion. However, by polishing the finish, you can achieve an exceptional water-repellent effect.

The outcome may vary depending on the machine or cloths you use, so feel free to experiment and find the method that best suits your preferences.

Tools and Applications

  • An orbital sander is used to remove oil films.
  • A double-action polisher ensures safe and effective polishing.

Flat Four is versatile and gentle enough to avoid scratching surfaces, making it suitable for various applications, such as:

  • Removing glass oil film spray
  • Polishing acrylic visors
  • Restoring headlights
  • Polishing lightly plated surfaces

HP-BALANCE – Advanced Polishing Compound Series

HP-BALANCE is the result of over a year and a half of relentless trial and error since its inception. Even a slight adjustment in the formulation had a significant impact, requiring close collaboration with manufacturing engineers to fine-tune elements such as grain size, moisture content, and viscosity.

This rigorous development process reflects one of our key strengths: hands-on expertise. With extensive on-site experience, a diverse range of vehicles from various manufacturers in stock, and a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, we approached every challenge with precision.

While characteristics vary by vehicle, we addressed these differences by focusing on achieving total balance through a process of careful subtraction.

The result is a formulation with excellent particle dispersion, a sticky yet fluid texture that minimizes tangling, and a reduction in splashing and powder. Despite its watery consistency, HP-BALANCE offers outstanding handling and performance.

Above all, our commitment to HP’s philosophy of real polishing—achieving a realistic finish by minimizing concealing substances—remains steadfast.

HP-BALANCE 69 (P1200 ~ P3000)

A versatile, standard-grade product compatible with domestic standard paints, suitable for both initial polishing and finishing stages.

Recommended Grit Range: P1200 ~ P2000

Suggested Buffs:

  • Super Long Wool Buff
  • Nano Cream Buff
  • White Urethane Buff

Polishing performance can vary significantly depending on the machine’s double amplitude and rotational power. Suitable options include amplitudes of 3mm, 6mm, 12mm, and 21mm.

HP-BALANCE 99 (P1000 ~ P2000)

MAKEN HP-Resin – High-Performance Resin for Painted Surfaces

High-Performance Resin for Painted Surfaces and Abrasive Paint Film Shaping

Due to popular demand, a hard-type formula specially designed for European cars is now available!

Features

By utilizing a long wool buff, we have perfected a formulation and construction technology aimed at delivering a high-quality, shaped film finish during polishing. This product incorporates abrasive grains capable of removing minor water spots and car wash scratches, making it a professional-grade polish rather than a basic solution.

Blended with a hardening Si siloxane unit resin coating, the formula includes highly durable resin components that enhance film thickness. It embodies a dual-purpose design, functioning both as a polishing agent and a moisturizing coating, leveraging the synergy of the trinity—buffing, machine, and material.

Key Benefits

The result is a resin film with minimal oxides, applied through buffing, that imparts the body surface with unique attributes such as:

  • Durability
  • Adhesion
  • Water repellency (hydrophobicity)

This innovative approach ensures exceptional functionality and a lasting finish—perfect for professionals who demand quality and performance.
